About the Role
We are looking for a Field Sales Associate to join our Peripheral Sales team. In this role, you will sell and promote existing and new interventional products in all FDA approved areas and applications. Gore Medical Products has provided creative therapeutic solutions to complex medical problems for over 35 years, saving and improving the quality of lives worldwide. We are a leading manufacturer of peripheral interventional, peripheral vascular, endovascular and structural heart products. This role will cover the territory of Toledo, Ohio; the candidate must reside in Toledo, Ohio, or surrounding areas. This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations in Toledo, Ohio, or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with IR, IC and VS call points
- Sell new technologies in the arterial and venous space
- Analyze customer needs and utilize software to plan cases and track sales
- Work effectively and cooperatively with your sales leader, part of the sector and as part of a cross-selling team of sales associates within your region
- Comply with internal and external practices and procedures
- Provide superior customer service to your physicians and their staff
- Become facile with IVUS and other imaging modalities to size cases and case plan
- Manage your business effectively by calling in waiting to bill, right sizing consignment and knowing how to utilize trunk stock
- Meet and exceed sales growth forecast year over year
- Become a student of the business and market expert by continuously learning about our products, the competition and the disease states
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience selling and or clinical support of implantable medical devices
- Prior experience developing relationships and supporting clinicians and doctors within vascular, endovascular, interventional cardiology, and interventional radiology disciplines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, which include a demonstrated ability to be a team player
- Demonstrated technical selling skills, including the capacity to quickly learn new products as well as new markets
- Strong clinical & technical skills including the ability to understand interventional procedures and terminology
- Demonstrated effective organizational management and planning skills
- Effective time management
- Current, valid driver's license
- Ability to perform the responsibilities of this role at our customer locations, which includes meeting vendor credentialing and hospital access requirements for healthcare professionals, relative to immunizations (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines)
- Ability to travel overnight up to 30% and must reside in Toledo, Ohio, or surrounding areas
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Interventional cardiac, endovascular, interventional radiology and/or Surgical vascular sales experience in arterial and venous spaces
- Prior experience selling wire and catheter-based products and familiarity with IVUS and other imaging modalities
This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training. This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore's work arrangement policies.
