Position Title:APP Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Amyloidosis Center, Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center The Amyloidosis Center, Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking a full-time advanced practice provider to support its rapidly expanding program. We are an international referral center for patients with amyloidosis and rare protein misfolding diseases that affect multiple organs. Our practice provides a full range of multidisciplinary care to a diverse patient population from all over the U.S. as well as international regions. The provider will work with our cardiologists, hematologists, pulmonologist, nephrologists, neurologists, and gastroenterologist to assist with coordination of patient care in the ambulatory multidisciplinary clinic in a shared practice model. The APP will be responsible for record review, medication reconciliation, patient intake, post-evaluation contact, and coordination of care. The APP will be joining a dynamic team of 2 experienced APPs. The APPs participate in multidisciplinary clinical, research and teaching conferences, and are encouraged to participate in multiple other opportunities available within the Amyloidosis Center. Teaching and mentoring opportunities for NP and PA students from area programs are also available. A minimum of 2 years of practice experience is preferred, although outstanding candidates at the beginning of their careers will also be considered.
