Overview Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer Location: Arnold AFB, TN Job Family Code: O - Engineering Function/Branch: Engineering/ID&C Directorate: Engineering & Tech Support Position Type: Regular, Full-Time Pay Type: Exempt Grade: L06 (OA0606) - L07 (OA0705) Salary Range or Starting Hourly Rate: $80,000 - $110,000 / year Overview Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting career opportunity for an entry-level Electrical Controls Engineer. The primary responsibility is upgrading and maintaining facility and motion control systems to meet specified plant and test conditions. The engineer will apply control theory, electrical standards, and PLC software skills to develop system requirements, specifications, and designs, while also assisting with system installation and deployment. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a large team of engineering professionals dedicated to satisfying customers and delivering projects on time and within budget. Open to internal and external candidates. This position may require occasional extended hours and weekend work to meet critical contractual requirements and to support outage activities. Occasional travel between AEDC facilities may also be necessary. Job Summary The successful candidate will apply expertise in electrical design, safety standards, programming, configuration management, and testing to develop complex electrical and control systems. They will also assist with requirements development, cost and schedule estimation, procurement, fabrication, and system deployment. Job Duties: Electrical Controls Engineers are critical to the execution of the test mission at AEDC. Under the general guidance of senior engineering staff, the duties for this entry-level position include: Core Responsibilities

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount BNH is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time jobs will be adjusted based upon the number of hours agreed to work.
Arnold Airforce Base $80,000 - $110,000 / year
