Department's Website: Appropriated Position: Administrative Analyst FLSA: Non-Exempt Safety Sensitive: No Essential Worker: No Provisional: No The Admissions Analyst works under the supervision of the Director of Admissions and is responsible for contributing to the admission and enrollment of prospective students. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Assists in meeting the objectives and goals of the Enrollment Management Plan. Performs initial assessments of applications (daily) Updates as needed applicant information such as applicant type, residency status, formatting issues, etc. Checks the Arkansas Department of Health's website for immunization records. Checks the National Student Clearinghouse records for prior enrollment not listed on the admissions applications. Evaluates accreditation status of previous education. Reviews/updates application requirements and checks for previously submitted documents. Processes admission documents daily and evaluates transcripts, test placement scores, and other documents to determine admission eligibility. Scans, uploads, and indexes admission documents into electronic filing system with a high level of accuracy and timeliness. Sends correspondence to applicants regarding the admissions process and documents submitted using email, texting, phone calls, and mail. Answers phones and greets students/visitors promptly in a courteous and professional manner. Directs prospective student questions to appropriate staff. Provides information, assistance, and clarification to prospective and current students concerning admissions requirements, processes, forms, etc. Stays current on information in reference to dates, events, degrees, and personnel changes by staying familiar with personnel and UACCM's Website. Ensures security, confidentiality, and safety of student records, in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Serves as backup for the front desk in the Admissions Office. Serves as primary point person for campus postal services and preparing outgoing mail daily. Manages bulk postal operations and stays current on policies and changes within the postal services. Develops and performs quality checks on storage of student data to ensure accuracy and manage duplicates. Develops and maintains the Admissions Procedures Manual for the duties related to this position. Provides updates to the Director of Admissions of issues, opportunities, operations, and needs within the Office of Admissions. Performs other duties as assigned.
