Shop Helper - (Catoosa, OK. Fab Shop)

Job Summary

The Shop Helper is primarily responsible for helping Equipment Operators on various types of machines within the Fabrication Shop.

Essential Functions

* Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."

* Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics."

* Experience and knowledge of operating saws and other Fabrication Shop machinery.

* Follows prescribed safety standards and regulations.

* Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

* Prior related experience and/or training in a fabrication or machine shop environment.

* Ability to operate tools and equipment applicable to position.

* Working knowledge of basic hand tools.

* Ability to interact and communicate well with others in a fast-paced environment.

* Obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform tasks at heights.
• Work will include pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 60 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools. Heavy lifting will often be required to perform tasks.
• Must be able to kneel, squat, and climb. Work will include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching and stooping and occasional climbing onto equipment and/or trailers. Work involves standing and/or walking for extended periods of time, up to a minimum of 8-10 hours per day
• Must be able to perform required duties for extended periods of time, often inside confined spaces.
• Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures.
