Apply to the WAREHOUSE DIRECTOR position now! Job Description Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Director. The primary functions of this position will be to direct the overall operations of over $30,000,000 of physical material inventory. This position will also direct the monitoring and mitigating of the risk management program, utilize multiple system software applications, and evaluate all processes to develop original system solutions to improve operating effectiveness and efficiency. Lastly, this position will develop and prepare the warehouse budget as well as monitor the budget to ensure compliance. This position requires a four-year college degree with an emphasis in warehouse or supply chain management, logistics or a related field preferred. If degree is in any other concentration, Supply Chain Certification is required or must be obtained within twelve months of the position award. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and computer operations. The candidate must have a minimum of eight years' progressive experience in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain operations. Proven leadership experience managing large teams and multi-site operations. The starting salary range for this position is $105,500 - $142,000. SMECO offers an excellent benefits program including a 401(k) 6% dollar for dollar match and an additional 3% non-elective company contribution.
