About the role

Your Mission

As a Software Engineer - Backend Development, your mission is to build cloud-native applications that empower users to work more efficiently across a variety of use cases. You will also contribute towards developing cutting-edge AI-driven agentic applications, leveraging Python, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) serverless technologies, and advanced frameworks like LangChain and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to solve complex customer challenges . At SADA, a premier Google Cloud Platform (GCP) partner, you'll help customers maximize their use of GCP technologies across diverse industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad experience solving complex challenges and developing scalable solutions in a

dynamic, service-oriented environment.

Job Requirements

Required Credentials:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in software development more focused on backend development.

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development and cloud-native application design.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js for building high-performance, scalable backend systems.

• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React and Angular, to build responsive and intuitive user interfaces.

• Cloud Native Backend Development: Expert-level proficiency in designing scalable, serverless, and containerized microservices using Google Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and GKE.

• AI Integration & RAG: Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, prompt engineering, and utilizing LLM APIs (Vertex AI).

• Data Systems: Deep understanding of relational databases (Cloud SQL) and Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, or Vertex AI Vector Search).

• Experience designing and building production APIs with proper contracts, error handling, and documentation (RESTful API and gRPC service development)

• Strong architectural thinking - ability to evaluate trade-offs, identify bottlenecks, and design for scale

• Experience writing comprehensive automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end)

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, from engineers to executives

• Debugging and problem-solving skills for complex, distributed systems

Useful Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python

• Experience tuning applications for non-functional requirements, i.e., usability, maintainability, scalability, availability, security, portability, etc.

• Experience using Google Cloud Platform, in particular serverless (Cloud Functions), containers (Cloud Run, Kubernetes), and platforms (App Engine)

• Experience interfacing with Architects, Product Management to design and implement solutions

• Experience working with and diagnosing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub actions, Bamboo, Jenkins, Harness, or GCP Cloud Build)

• Familiarity with frontend web technologies, particularly React and Angular

• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
