JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The College/Unit of IST is seeking applicants for part-time job of Agentic AI Developer.

Job duties to include:

We are seeking highly motivated B.S. or M.S. students (who are not graduating until Fall 26) to join our team for an AI security project in which students work directly with production-scale models and industry datasets. The project focuses on adversarial machine learning, large language model (LLM) robustness, red-teaming and defense strategies, and empirical evaluation of model vulnerabilities under realistic threat scenarios. Students will gain hands-on experience designing attack and defense pipelines, conducting systematic experiments, and collaborating in a fast-paced, research-driven environment. Ideal candidates have strong programming skills (Python required), familiarity with machine learning/NLP frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Transformers), and an interest in AI safety, security, or trustworthy AI. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI systems, contribute to high-impact research, and engage directly with industry-scale infrastructure.

Compensation:

The starting rate for this job is $20/hr for BS and $25/hr for MS students
