The Marine Services Business Unit is seeking a Boat Cook in Morgan City, LA. DEA's Marine Services Division is currently seeking a temporary Cook/Deckhand to work aboard an 82ft survey vessel operating in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Must possess a high school diploma/GED; a valid Driver's License; and a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC). Prior cooking experience and the appropriate State food service certification must be obtained. Prior marine experience is not necessary but recommended for this entry-level position. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and safety conscious. This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug screening per US Coast Guard regulations. Work Schedule: This is a temporary position expected to continue through Summer/Fall of 2026. Schedule for this position is typically 10 days of rotating shift work on the vessel followed by 10 days off the vessel. Crew change will take place in Morgan City, LA.
