PROGRAM SUMMARY

At Columbia Sportswear, we offer college students an opportunity to join our team and help solve real business problems during our 10week summer internship at our Headquarters in Carlsbad, California. Interns gain handson experience within their assigned department while building partnerships with teams and fellow interns.

Location: prAna Headquarters in Carlsbad, CA
Duration: ~10 weeks
Start Date: June 2026

Pay Rate: 24.00/hour

The Marketing Intern will support key initiatives across the Marketing department,gaining hands-on experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, and campaignexecution. This role is designed to provide meaningful project work, professionaldevelopment, and exposure to cross-functional partners. The intern will complete acapstone project to be presented at the end of the program.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns and seasonal initiatives

  • Gather, organize, and analyze market research and consumer insights

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Creative, eComm, and Social

  • Contribute ideas and assist in developing content for prAna social channels

  • Participate in weekly team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project updates

  • Assist with assembling PR seeding boxes for product launches

  • Support administrative needs such as asset organization, calendar updates, sample coordination, and event support

  • Complete an intern project that advances team goals and present your work at the end of the program

YOU ARE

  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working across departments

  • Creative, curious, and enthusiastic about sharing new ideas

  • Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Comfortable taking on new challenges and learning through hands on experience

  • Confident participating in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and group discussions

YOU HAVE

  • A strong interest in marketing, brand storytelling, or social media

  • The ability to organize and synthesize information, including market research and consumer insights

  • Clear communication skills for partnering with diverse teams

  • A foundational understanding of social platforms and content trends

  • Strong organizational skills to support asset management, calendars, samples, and event coordination

  • The ability to lead a project from start to final presentation

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Current student with one of the following academic standings: Rising Senior, Senior, Graduate/ MBA student
  • Degree relevant to the internship applying for
  • Must be able to participate in 10-week program for either date option provided
  • Must be able to work onsite at our HQ or DC locations hired at for the duration of the internship

NON-LOCAL CANDIDATE CONSIDERATIONS

  • Relocation assistance & housing is NOT provided- these costs andarrangements would be the responsibility of the intern for the entiretyof the program
