About the Role We are seeking a highly accurate and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support within commissions, accounting, and bookkeeping. This role is essential to ensuring commission statements are processed correctly and efficiently. If you have strong data entry skills, thrive in a structured environment, and enjoy working with numbers and client information, this is the position for you. Key Responsibilities * Process commission statements received from vendors and enter data into internal systems * Perform accurate and timely data entry across multiple platforms * Work with and update client demographics (name, address, phone number, etc.) * Utilize Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications for daily tasks * Maintain a high degree of accuracy to support financial workflows * Collaborate with Operations team members to ensure smooth processing of commissions Required Skills & Experience Must-Have: * Strong experience in data entry * Proficiency with Excel * Basic computer and typing skills * Experience working with customer or client demographics * Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Office suite Nice-to-Have: * Insurance industry experience * Any experience in processing financial or commission-based data * Experience in roles with heavy client information handling (e.g., shipping handler/coordinator) Work Environment * Standard business hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM * Fully on-site position * Fast-paced, accuracy-driven operations team Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
