Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Mental Health Technician to join our team. This role assists with daily living activities, monitors client well-being, and supports treatment goals under the supervision of licensed clinical staff. The ideal candidate is patient, observant, and able to respond effectively in a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment.

Position Summary

The Site Manager, under the supervision of the Program Director and Assistant Program Directors, is responsible for overseeing the program operations, administrative, program facility, and leadership role within the LTSR programs program. The Site Manager ensures clients go to scheduled appointments and supervises the Mental Health Technician on site.

Complete initial contact records for individuals seeking services at the agency. Provide crisis management as needed. Ensure all clinically necessary information is recorded within the intake of assessment and that all individuals are referred to the most appropriate program to meet their needs. Coordinate links to other agencies and programs as needed. Provide administrative and D&A case management as needed. Work cooperatively with other departments to ensure successful client engagement, monitoring, and billing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the facility in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws/standards.?
  • Along with other team members, develops client-centered, recovery-oriented plans that foster the personal growth of the residents, reviews these plans on a regular basis and makes changes to these plans as the residents' needs and abilities change.?
  • Directly provides and/or supervises staff in providing direct services to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene, tasks of daily living, educational, social, and leisure programs for which resident's input is elicited - including transportation in company vehicle if needed.?
  • Coordinator all services and follow-ups related to mental health court hearings and commitments.
  • Participation in Quality Improvement Program
  • Attendance of internal and external meetings as required.
  • Implementation of policies and procedures in compliance with all external and internal policies, statutes, and regulations.
  • Oversight of admission screening and negotiations regarding referrals, transfers, and discharges.
  • Actively supervise, coach, mentor Mental Health Technicians and Certified Peer Specialist that work within LTSR.
  • Directly provides and/or supervises staff in meal preparation, serving, and clean up as needed.?
  • Interacts and cooperates with outside agencies for the betterment of the residents.?
  • Transports residents to and from medical appointments, religious and/or cultural activities, and leisure activities as needed.?
  • Immediately reports all resident crisis and/or unusual incidents to Program Director/Assistant Program Director.?
  • Documents in residents' charts as required (including handwritten & EHR format).?
  • Take part in the interviewing process, make hiring recommendations, and assist with staff training.?
  • Attends all meetings and training sessions as assigned.?
  • Maintains petty cash and client funds per corporate policy in the absence of the Assistant Program Director.?
  • Complies with all COMHAR Policies and Procedures with no unauthorized exception.?
  • Directly provides and/or supervises crisis intervention as needed when providing direct care to residents.?
  • Manage the completion of daily shift notes in Evolv from staff.
  • Assists in assigning & monitoring staff training.?
  • Other duties assigned and related to this position as directed by related supervisors.

Requirements

Site Manager Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Education, or other Human Services Field and minimum of three (3) years of experience in Mental Health with 1 year experience in a supervisory position.
  • Valid driver's license required. (Must be able to move about COMHAR service areas throughout the day to provide appropriate oversight and coordination and meet job duties as needed and required.)
