The Role

QuidelOrtho is looking for a Marketing Analyst Intern that wants to spend their summer of 2026 working towards our mission: Changing Lives, One Test at a Time. Interns will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop their skills all while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Our team will help students apply their educational background and broaden their knowledge base within their role and learn more about working in the medical device/biotech industry. Interns will work with a mentor(s) on a guided and impactful project and will be able to collaborate with and be part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Our team manages a diverse portfolio of body fluid tests thatimpactthe lives of over600,000 patientsworldwide every day. We are looking for a motivated intern to support launch readiness activitiesandmarket studiesto ensureasuccessfulandon-timelaunchfortwo Platforms product lines.Toconduct market research and competitiveintelligence analysisas needed. Supportdownstream marketing activities as needed.

This position is available in Rochester, NY.

This Internship is a full-time (40 hours per week) paid program for 10-12 weeks.

Session 1: June 15th through August 15th

Session 2: July 6th through September 21st

The Responsibilities

  • Support launch readinessand market studiesby compilingmeetingagenda, notes andfollowing up on open action items

  • Support the development of a Voice Of Customer feedback loop for field associates on software updates and customer satisfaction survey

  • Conductcompetitive intelligence research tocapture the competitive landscapeandidentifycompetitive strategies

  • Support downstream marketing activities such as updating the Systems website pages

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Job Deliverables

  • Launch readiness and market study activities

  • The intern will presentaPowerPoint presentation on his/her work to a cross-functional group.

The Individual

Required:

  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Master'sprogram - Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biology) or Biomedical Engineering

  • Understanding of marketing principles,strategiesand tactics

  • Strong analyticaland problem-solving skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Passion for understanding diagnostics, marketdynamicsandcustomer behavior

  • Strong communicationskillsto communicate findings and recommendations

  • Experience inhighly collaborativeprojects with multiple stakeholders and departments

  • Must have work authorization in the United States at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

Preferred:

  • Experience withPower BIand other analytical tools

The Work Environment

No strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required. 30% of time in meetings, working with team, or talking on the phone, 70% of the time at the desk on computer, doing analytical work.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary range for current currently enrolled Graduate, MBD, PhD program is $28.00/hour to $30.00/hour. At QuidelOrtho, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
