Overview

Graduate by Hilton Princeton is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Runner to support our Food & Beverage team in delivering timely, accurate, and memorable dining experiences. The Food Runner plays a key role in ensuring guests receive their meals promptly and correctly while maintaining the flow between the kitchen and dining room. This position requires strong communication, urgency, and a team-first mindset to support both front- and back-of-house operations.



Responsibilities

    Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately

  • Verify plates for presentation, accuracy, and completeness before leaving the kitchen

  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless coordination

  • Assist servers with table maintenance and guest needs as necessary

  • Describe dishes when delivering to guests and ensure proper placement at the table

  • Maintain cleanliness of expo line, service stations, and dining areas

  • Support overall restaurant flow by anticipating needs and responding with urgency

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards



Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry multiple plates

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Commitment to delivering excellent guest service and upholding brand standards
