Lead Medical Call Center

Richmond Va

Pay From: $22 Per Hour

MUST:

The Lead Medical Call Center Rep should have the following experience:

5+years of experience working in a multi provider medical practice call center site

Experience in a Lead role and assisting with training staff

Handling escalated calls

Experience working in eye center or Ophthalmic practice site a huge plus

Strong customer service skills and comfortable working all phones

Assisting with leading and training staff

Experience scheduling a high volume of medical office appointments

Experience verifying insurance

Registering patients

Triaging patients

Strong documentation skills

Ability to troubleshoot phone calls and escalate as needed

Documenting and updating patient information in EMR

DUTIES:

The duties of the Lead Medical Office Call Center Rep include but are not limited to the following:

Lead and help train call center staff

Troubleshoot phone calls when escalated

Answer phone calls

Schedule ophthalmic appointments

Provide customer service support

Verify insurance

Register patients

Document patient interactions in company database system

Run call center reports

Document and update patient information in EMR
