Job Description:

The ESG Sustainability Program Manager leads and coordinates defined Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability programs within the organization, with a focus on semiconductor manufacturing and operational environments. Translates enterprise ESG direction and manufacturing sustainability commitments into executable, facilities-based programs, governance, metrics, and reporting outcomes. Operates as an individual contributor with no people management responsibility, driving results through program leadership, coordination, and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads ESG and sustainability programs specific to semiconductor facilities and operations (energy, water, emissions, waste, infrastructure, SBTi, corporate citizenship report).

  • Support future growth into reporting frameworks (IFSR S2, CSRD, ISSB, etc.).

  • Translates enterprise ESG and sustainability goals into global-level plans, milestones, and performance indicators.

  • Coordinates execution across fabs, campuses, and site infrastructure teams.

  • Identifies operational risks and technical dependencies unique to manufacturing environments.

  • Coordinates ESG-related work across Facilities, Engineering, EHS, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Corporate ESG teams.

  • Partners with site leaders to embed sustainability into capital projects and operations.

  • Influences outcomes through data, analysis, and facilitation rather than authority.

  • Owns global ESG and sustainability data collection and validation.

  • Supports reporting requirements with data owner input.

  • Develops dashboards, scorecards, and sustainability performance narratives.

  • Coordinates vendors and service providers as needed.

  • Monitors sustainability standards and regulations relevant to semiconductor facilities.

  • Assesses implications for facilities programs.

  • Recommends operational and program enhancements.

  • Manages global ESG programs with multi-site impact.

  • Contributes to sustainability performance, regulatory readiness, and operational efficiency.

  • No direct or indirect people management responsibilities.

  • May coordinate project contributors or vendors without HR accountability.

Preferred Background and Experiences:

  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks relevant to manufacturing (SBTi, GHG Protocol, CDP, IFSR S2, CSRD, ISSB).

  • Knowledge of semiconductor facility operations (fabs, utilities, tooling impacts, environmental permitting).

  • Understanding of energy, water, emissions, waste, and resource efficiency principles.

  • Ability to build, validate, and maintain sustainability datasets across global operations.

  • Proficiency in developing dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).

  • Ability to identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Skilled at coordinating complex, multisite programs.

  • Able to influence without authority through analysis, facilitation, and stakeholder management.

  • Experience working with vendors and service partners.

  • Strong communication skills for translating ESG direction into operational requirements.

  • Ability to partner with Facilities, Engineering, EHS, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Corporate ESG teams.

  • Working knowledge of emerging global and regional sustainability regulations and standards.

  • Ability to assess operational impacts and recommend appropriate actions.

Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work| Required
