CNC Machine Operator
Summary Operate various machines in our Machining Department to optimize production and quality. Operations may include routers, edge banders and potentially other machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Hard Skills 1. Needs to be punctual and maintain good attendance. 2. Able to easily and consistently measure to 32nd’s and 64th’s of an inch. Accurate Tape Measure reading is needed. 3. More advanced cut-listing/optimizing of materials using the material schedules provided for job. 4. Prior manufacturing experience a plus 5. Able to work independently and part of a team. 6. May need to perform routine maintenance. Soft Skills 1. Demonstrates effective time management. 2. Self-motivated and work well independently. 3. Professional interactions with all people both here and in the field on job sites. 4. Willing to be cross-trained 5. Detail Oriented 6. Works well in a team environment
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma and prior Woodworking background is preferred. Related experience, or a combination of education and experience will also be considered. CNC Machine Operation experience is a plus. Accurate Tape Measure reading is needed.
Shift 1st shift: 4 - 9 hour days (Monday-Thursday), 4 hour shift on Friday Morning. Overtime hours may also be possible, depending on any Business / Project Requirements.
