Position Title: RPA Intern Location: Columbus, Ohio/Remote Reports To: Corporate Global Operations Position Summary Are you ready to spend your summer doing something cool? As a Robotic Process Automation Intern, you'll get hands-on experience building and optimizing automated solutions that make real work easier and more efficient. You'll dig into how our processes work, find opportunities to automate the repetitive stuff, and help bring those ideas to life using RPA tools. This isn't a "fetch coffee and sit in meetings" kind of internship - you'll be working alongside our team on projects that matter, gaining skills that translate directly into a career in tech, operations, or beyond. If you love solving problems, thinking analytically, and the idea of teaching robots to do things so people don't have to, this is the summer opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities
- RPA Development Work
- Identify and help automate repetitive workflows using OTC's RPA solution to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Gather requirements and map end-to-end processes with cross-functional stakeholders across segments.
- Build, test, and maintain automation workflows, including monitoring failures and troubleshooting exceptions.
- Other Automation Work:
- Develop Power BI dashboards (including data modeling, DAX measures, visuals, and automated refresh schedules) to track global ops KPIs and automation impact.
Qualifications
- Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, etc.
- Strong problem-solver who can think on their feet and work through challenges as they come up in a hands-on, fast-moving environment.
- Comfortable looking at how things are being done and spotting ways to make processes smoother and more efficient.
- A solid communicator who can collaborate well with the team and clearly share ideas, updates, and findings with others.
- Able to work with data to pull out useful insights and help guide decisions throughout the project.
- Genuinely cares about the end user experience and keeps customer needs in mind when developing and delivering solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain data insights clearly
