Lead Data Modeler

Office hybrid in Seattle, WA or Chicago, IL

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Data Modeler to design and assist in developing the Customer Success Semantic layer for enterprise data syndication an agentic analytics. This role will develop robust entity relationship diagrams, architectural specs, and map relationships within CSG domains to build a central view of metrics and grains needed to power the agentic experiences in Help Agent and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Architect the semantic relationships of hundreds of analytical objects within the Customer Success Domain

  • Working Product Managers, Engineering leaders, and data engineers to implement a multi-year roadmap aligned to the development of this architecture.

  • Align designs are architecture to standard metadata and ontologies within the enterprise for developing the semantic understanding.

  • Partner cross-functionally with architects, data architects, and product managers to make the analytical semantic layer discoverable.

  • Translate models into database schemas and objects for analytically aligning

  • Author and conform to best practices for maintaining discoverability and trust of data within the semantic layer.

  • Create technical documentation with product specifics and requirements that outline overall strategy in collaboration with the Product Manager.

  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay ahead of technological advancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in a data modeling, architecture, or data engineering capacity.

  • A related technical degree required.

  • Database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), data modeling tools (ERwin, Visio), data warehousing, ETL processes.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to bridge business and technical teams.

  • Knowledge of data governance and metadata management techniques and tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think strategically.
