The Role:
Our site in Colorado Springs, CO - Rockrimmon is seeking an Engineering - Injection Molding Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration, beginning in June through December.

Entegris is seeking a motivated Quality Engineering Coop to support our growing Injection Molding operations at the new Rockrimmon Campus. This role provides handson experience in a highprecision manufacturing environment, working closely with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, and Production teams to ensure the highest levels of product quality and process reliability.

The Coop will contribute directly to quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, rootcause investigations, and process validation activities for injectionmolded components used in critical semiconductor manufacturing applications.

What You'll Do:

  • Quality support & continuous improvement

  • Assist in the development and execution of quality improvement projects for injectionmolded products and processes.

  • Perform capability studies (Cp/Cpk), MSA, SPC charting, and other statistical analyses to monitor and improve process performance.

  • Support the creation and revision of PFMEAs, Control Plans, and other quality documentation.

  • Inspection & data analysis

  • Conduct dimensional inspection using calipers, micrometers, optical measurement systems, and CMMs (as trained).

  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, anomalies, or opportunities for improvement.

  • Support incoming, inprocess, and final inspection activities, including measurement method validation.

  • Root Cause & problem solving

  • Participate in root cause investigations for nonconforming material and customer complaints.

  • Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and document findings using structured problemsolving methodologies (8D, 5Why, Fishbone, etc.).

  • Process validation & documentation

  • Assist with process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new molds, tooling changes, or process updates.

  • Help maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 and Entegris Quality Management System requirements.

  • Work with crossfunctional teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and met on the production floor.

What We Seek:

  • Strong analytical skills and interest in datadriven problem solving.

  • Ability to work independently and in a crossfunctional environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with data analysis software is a plus.

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
Mechanical Engineering, graduating in December 2026 or later.

Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field will also be considered.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student

  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in June through December.

  • Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program

  • Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, including wearing PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, gowns, hairnets, or other safety/cleanroom attire as required.

  • Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for prolonged periods while performing computerbased work or data analysis. Ability to stand, walk, or move between work areas.

  • Ability to move safely around manufacturing equipment, production floors, and tooling areas.

  • Ability to hear alarms, signals, or communicate clearly in a manufacturing environment (with or without accommodation).

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to handle small components, operate measurement equipment, and use hand tools.

Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
