Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of integrated communications strategies for pharmaceutical clients.
  • Support cross-functional projects to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and counsel, including:
    • Celebrity, influencer and patient engagement, including vetting, contracting, onboarding and activation
    • Disease awareness (unbranded) and branded communications
    • Media relations and PR events
  • Partner with team leads and specialists to develop and/or review communications materials, including
    • Influencer content, contracts and guidelines
    • Backgrounders, video scripts, social and sponsored content
    • Key messages and internal client communications
  • Build and manage timelines, calendars, action plans, runs of show, agendas, and call notes to keep projects on track
  • Support budget management and monthly billing processes
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for core clients in assigned areas
  • Collaborate regularly with partner agencies, vendors, media and other third-parties
  • Mentor and support junior team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years' experience in healthcare communications, with a focus on influencer marketing (HCP, celebrity, macro, micro and patient), including identification, vetting, contracting, and activation
  • Experience working in regulated environments, including familiarity with medical, legal, and regulatory review processes
  • Veeva Vault experience
  • Willingness to travel as needed

  • Strong communicator, writer and strategic thinking with collaboration, high-energy approach
  • Comfortable managing multiple accounts and competing priorities
  • Experienced in executing productions, content strategies and creative planning
  • Up-to-date knowledge of influencer and social media trends, particularly within healthcare
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and quality control across all deliverables
  • Proactive communicator who anticipates needs and keeps teams aligned
  • Self-motivated and solutions-oriented, with the ability to drive projects forward independently
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to effectively manage up and down within a large team environment

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $130K to $140K. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
