Olgoonik is an Equal Opportunity Employer Overview: Commercial Remodeler will be required to clean, prep, refinish, repair, install, tape, paint and refinish assignments and touch up a variety of commercial refinishing jobs. The Remodeler will be required to have journeyman knowledge of commercial remodeling skills including scaffold setup, pressure washing, painting, carpentry, drywall installation, taping, spraying oils, HVLP, and fine wood restoration. Tapers will also be required to work as a team with little supervision on routine tasks. Journeyman Commercial Remodeler must be able to travel to remote locations throughout Alaska. Security Clearance: Must be able to pass basic background check initiated by the military to work on military bases. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work to be performed both indoors and outdoors. Noise level is usually moderate to loud. May be exposed to extreme weather, including arctic environment. May be required to work in locations that involve hazardous environments requiring protective equipment that conforms to OSHA regulations and some physical discomfort due to temperature, dust and noise. Work may include travel and extended assignments to remote locations around Alaska.
