ABOUT THE JOB:

The Sr. Program Manager - Modular Fleet owns the full operational lifecycle of the modular trailer fleet, ensuring supply, condition, and turnaround times meet market demand. This role drives execution of trailer-specific readiness standards, modular lifecycle strategies, and optimization initiatives while unblocking field pain points and aligning national consistency for this product line. The position requires strong leadership in asset readiness, modular dispositions, fleet logistics, and lifecycle optimization to deliver operational excellence and scalability.



PLEASE NOTE: While residency in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area is preferred, highly qualified candidates located elsewhere may be considered, provided they reside near a major airport and can meet the travel requirements of the role.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Asset Readiness



  • Monitor and Control inspection and grading processes to ensure accurate condition assessment.
  • Define and maintain trailer attributes and specifications for operational consistency.
  • Develop and manage documentation plans for asset readiness.
  • Coordinate Hub operations to support efficient fleet deployment and turnaround.



Asset Lifecycle



  • Design and manage asset disposition flow processes to minimize downtime.
  • Lead repair/refurbishment/recertification programs to extend asset lifecycle and maintain quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain scope of work for repairs and enhancements with precision.
  • Implement quality control measures and standardization across all repair/refurbishment/recertification activities.
  • Drive preventative maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned outages.
  • Identify and implement enhancement opportunities for asset performance.



Fleet Logistics



  • Manage redeployment and transfer strategies to optimize asset positioning.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of trailers between hubs and markets.



Optimization Programs



  • Develop and execute programs focused on fleet efficiency, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to identify opportunities for operational optimization.



Cycle-Time / Lifecycle Management



  • Own lifecycle programs to maximize asset utilization and minimize idle time.
  • Monitor and improve cycle-time metrics to meet market demand and service level agreements.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in Fleet Operations, Asset Management, or Logistics, preferably in Modular or Trailer-Based industries.
  • Proven track record in program management and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and refurbishment/recertification strategies.
