Job Summary

Provides leadership to execute the organization's training and development initiatives. Implements training projects and activities.


Essential Duties

  • Manages, coaches and develops direct reports to achieve performance goals and company objectives. Conducts timely, complete and meaningful performance management conversations.
  • Manages and implements training projects. Establishes a vision, develops strategies and implements training action plans.
  • Conducts training sessions.
  • Develops and monitors the training budget.
  • Models leadership in developing employees.
  • Ensures compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees the administration and implementation of training systems.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Training, Education, Organizational Development, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing a training team, 5 years working as a corporate trainer, or 5 years working as an instructional designer.
  • Knowledge of TD's business model, existing and emerging learning technologies, marketplace resources, principals of management and leadership, external systems that can effect organizational performance and the legal/regulatory/and ethical requirements related to training.
