Yoh has an immediate, 6 month contract opportunity, possible extension, as a Senior Paralegal - Investment Management Contracts within the financial industry to jour client, hybrid, to report to their office location in Boston, MA or New York, NY Max Hourly Rate $48.80/hr. 4 days/week onsite required Financial Services Industry exp. required Contract Negotiation exp. required NDA/RFP exposure preferred *Location must be clearly outlined on resume to be considered* As as successful candidate you will have experience in a legal or contracting function at an asset manager, financial institution or large corporate and experience in technology applications What You Will Be Doing Primarily assist with contracting and documentation for support of Client Platform including drafting, reviewing and negotiating investment management agreements, amendments, ancillary documentation, RFPs and non-disclosure agreements. Serve as the primary point of contact for the Advisory Legal team and business development and relationship management professionals. Collaborate with other members of the Legal team as necessary in connection with contracting work. Assisting with complex issues arising on documentation and helping to establish controls and processes where required. Support the development and implementation of technology solutions in relation to the contracting process, including AI and Microsoft Suite Power Apps. Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, design and efficiency. Who You Are Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Business, Finance, or a related field, with experience supporting legal or contracting functions in financial services. Experience in a legal or contracting function at an asset manager, financial institution or large corporate and experience in technology applications Interest in the implementation of legal technology and process design and improvement Good business judgement, and strong collaboration skills. Pragmatic and risk aware approach to contracting and co-ordination and collaboration within the Legal team and wider business. Proven written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively distill and communicate complex issues in a dynamic environment The character and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Language skills would be an asset, but not a requirement If This Sounds Like You, Apply Now!
