Yoh Staffing is currently hiring multiple Manufacturing Technicians to work for one of their clients in San Diego, CA. If interested, send your updated resume to madison.muscat@yoh.com.

Client: Biotechnology company
Duration: 6 month contract - potential for extension
Location: 100% on-site @ San Diego, 92122
Pay: $21/hr. base pay - 10% shift differential for 3rd shift. Final 30 minutes fall under 1st shift pay (W-2 basis)
Shift: Sun-Thurs 10:00PM-6:30AM

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician (Contractor)
to support hands-on production in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates who can quickly ramp up, follow written procedures precisely, and consistently deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned manufacturing and production tasks per approved work instructions
  • Execute work orders and complete production documentation accurately
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, safety, and quality system requirements
  • Perform line clearances and in-process quality checks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (6S)
  • Identify and escalate quality issues, equipment problems, or discrepancies
  • Support team production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment



Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or laboratory environments
  • Experience working in GMP or quality-controlled environments preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions with strong attention to detail
  • Basic troubleshooting and documentation skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills



Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with regulated manufacturing or life sciences production
  • Experience with batch records, work orders, or controlled documentation
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks after training
  • Comfortable working in a team-based, fast-paced environment



Physical & Work Requirements
  • Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift materials per safety guidelines
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime



Estimated Min Rate: $15.23
Estimated Max Rate: $21.75
