DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will leverage your veterinary expertise in regulatory medicine for thoroughbred and/or standardbred racetracks, overseeing the Bleeder Medication Program and activities within the test barn. Additionally, you will implement programs from the Bureau of Animal Health and Diagnostic Services, ensuring compliance with legislatively mandated laws and regulations in your designated PDA region to facilitate effective animal disease surveillance and control. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- You will work closely with vendors and work hours may change based on vendor availability.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- ne year of professional experience as a veterinarian and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or a Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) from an American Veterinary Medical Association accredited college or university.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a license to practice veterinary medicine as issued by a state board of veterinary medical examiners.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
