Job Title: Procurement / Sourcing Specialist Location: Washington County OR 97005 (four days onsite in a week) Duration: 12+ months (Possible Extension) Pay Range: $50/hr. - $53/hr. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Sourcing Analyst II to join our global Sport Category Sourcing team. This role involves collaborating across multiple functions, including Product Creation, Finance, Supply Planning, Materials, and Manufacturing teams, to manage sourcing and cost planning activities within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in apparel/footwear manufacturing, and be comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment. Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for various sports categories, such as Cricket, Basketball Special Projects, and Olympics sideline products.
- Cost Planning: Collaborate with the Finance team to define style-level targets and ensure profitability by managing cost planning.
- Global Sourcing: Understand the global sourcing process, from strategic sourcing to seasonal execution, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing strategies meet profitability and operational targets.
- Data Analysis: Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess data, identify trends, and provide business solutions.
- Factory Allocation: Assist with factory allocation and sourcing decisions, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
Must-Have Skills:
- Excel Expertise: Advanced knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic calculations.
- Retail Math: Understanding of retail math, with the ability to apply it to sourcing and cost planning.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable solutions.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, presenting data and strategies clearly to various stakeholders.
Desired Soft Skills:
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to build consensus and foster teamwork across multiple functions.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Data Visualization: Experience using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to create visual insights.
- PowerPoint: Experience in building decks for presentation purposes, especially for strategic discussions.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Previous experience in apparel/footwear sourcing through a supply chain lens is a plus.
- Cross-Functional Experience: Experience working in a matrix environment, interacting with multiple stakeholders to drive business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Textiles, Supply Chain, or a related field (or 2+ years of experience in lieu of degree).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, particularly in sourcing, supply chain, product creation, or manufacturing.
- Strong strategic thinking and an enterprise mindset, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data to answer business questions and provide solutions.
