This role provides dedicated supervision to coordinate resources, enforce material controls, communicate cross-functionally, and drive continuous improvement across procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and production support. In addition, the role leads the cycle count and inventory accuracy team, owning count strategy, execution, variance resolution, and system integrity for line-side, WIP, and warehouse locations. • Support and maintain all internal Kanban, supermarket, and bin replenishment processes; ensure bin sizing, card accuracy, and visual controls are effective and maintained.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between Purchasing, Production, Inventory Control, Warehousing, and Shipping to resolve material availability issues and prevent line interruptions.
  • Oversee the movement and control of all materials, including subassemblies, WIP, non-conforming material, returns, and empty containers.
  • Own execution of all material transactions and WIP location management to maintain inventory integrity and traceability.
  • Lead the cycle count and inventory accuracy function, including development of count schedules, assignment of resources, and adherence to counting standards.
  • Analyze and resolve inventory variances using root cause analysis; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of inventory discrepancies in the ERP/WMS and coordination with Finance and Inventory Control as required.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce standard work and SOPs for line-side delivery, cycle counting, handler routes, and material presentation.
  • Monitor performance and respond to shortages, mis-picks, inventory discrepancies, and delivery misses using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Supervise, train, and coach a team of material handlers, tugger drivers, and cycle counters; manage scheduling, timekeeping, and performance in alignment with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, powered industrial equipment requirements, and 5S expectations in all line-side, WIP, and warehouse locations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on labor efficiency, inventory reduction, space utilization, and overall material flow optimization.
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics providers as required to support line-side delivery and inventory accuracy expectations.
