As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support guests and tenants with friendly customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout common areas, corridors, exterior walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspicious activity, and medical calls, and request additional assistance as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe for policy violations, hazards, and unusual conditions, and report findings to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
