As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Whittier, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will complete routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help identify and report security-related concerns. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and alignment with AU Driver Policy Requirements, as you may patrol across designated areas. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital corridors, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor guidance, wayfinding, and basic badge and/or credential checks as directed by site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical area support requests, and/or unauthorized persons, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Document patrol activity, incident details, and observed hazards using required reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to incoming shifts and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
