What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, reporting, and coordination with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor flow, and restricted areas per site procedures, assisting with wayfinding, visitor management, and escalation when policy violations are observed.
• Complete detailed security-related reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2+ years of security experience.
• Have hospital vaccines.
• Have 2+ years' service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
