Hourly Pay Range:

A Brief Overview:

The Operations Analyst role provides hands-on operational assistance to Endeavor Health Medical Group front desk and patient access teams, partnering closely with the Medical Group Patient Access / Front-End Operations Manager. This position supports the consistent application of workflows, troubleshooting of EMR and point-of-service processes, staff training and education, and day-to-day operational needs. By ensuring accurate patient registration, point-of-service collections, scheduling, and billing-related workflows, this role contributes directly to the revenue cycle, helping to optimize operational efficiency and financial outcomes for the medical group. The role also assists with reporting, account management, and administrative responsibilities to ensure front desk teams have the resources, tools, and guidance they need to deliver efficient, accurate, and high-quality patient experiences.

What you will do:

  • Works in close partnership with the Medical Group Front Desk Operations / Patient Access leadership to support day-to-day operational needs, workflow consistency, and staff success across Endeavor Health Medical Group front desk and patient access teams. Reports directly to the Medical Group Patient Access / Front-End Operations Manager.
  • Serves as a frontline operations support resource for front desk and patient access teams, assisting with implementation of established workflows, tools, and training initiatives. Serves as an administrator for department-related online platforms, creating and managing staff accounts, maintaining passwords, and ensuring access is up to date.
  • Provides hands-on support for EPIC front desk workflows, including troubleshooting registration, scheduling, check-in, and point-of-service payment issues, and escalating system or process concerns to leadership as appropriate.
  • Partners with leadership to identify workflow challenges, recognize trends, and support practical process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and patient experience.
  • Runs and reviews standard EPIC and operational reports related to patient registration, scheduling activity, patient interactions within the EMR, and point-of-service payments, sharing findings with leadership to help identify workflow gaps, training needs, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Rounds regularly to offsite locations alongside or on behalf of leadership to observe front desk operations, reinforce standard workflows, answer questions, and ensure teams have the resources needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Assists with account management and operational maintenance activities related to front desk and patient access functions, including form updates, yearly fee schedule maintenance, and charge master support as assigned by leadership.
  • Supports department operations by assisting with meeting preparation, documenting meeting minutes, tracking action items, and helping coordinate operational initiatives and follow-up.
  • Supports onboarding, training, and ongoing education for front desk staff, including serving as a preceptor and reinforcing established training standards.
  • Develops, updates, and maintains front desk reference materials, yearly forms, and fee schedules in collaboration with leadership to ensure accuracy and alignment with current workflows.
  • Acts as a liaison between front desk teams and leadership by communicating frontline feedback, escalating issues, and supporting consistent application of workflows across locations.
  • Participates in departmental and interdisciplinary committees as assigned, supporting front desk operations, patient access workflows, and system optimization efforts.
  • Maintains working knowledge of EPIC functionality, patient access best practices, and front desk operational trends to effectively support leadership-directed initiatives.

What you will need:

  • Education: Associates Degree Required
  • Experience: 1-year previous experience in IT or relevant user experience or 5 years' experience of relevant Physician Operations experience
