This Position reports to:

Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the production and testing process and associated trouble shooting to ensure optimization of cost, quality and on time delivery of products. Conduct testing and checking activities during the manufacturing process. Perform tests or checks by following procedures and instructions defined in manuals and test scripts in the System Drives, Motion Division located in New Berlin, WI.

This role is contributing to MOHP in the USA.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Testing: Conduct functional testing and inspection of electric drive and control products using standard/specialized equipment, ensuring completion within routed time and adherence to quality and delivery standards.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair drive, subassembly, and circuit board failures identified during testing; retest to confirm resolution and ensure costeffective fixes.

  • Operations Improvement: Partner with Production Leadership to identify and implement process improvements; support projects that enhance quality, cost, and timelines. Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing to integrate new technologies, lean practices, and improved material flow.

  • Production Support: Support new product launches and process changes by training staff per Workmanship Standards. Lead prototyping and documentation for new product builds.

  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Assist the Production Supervisor in executing safety plans; update JSAs and ergonomic assessments as needed; participate in ILP activities and follow-up actions.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • 2 years of experience in Production or Electrical Test Environment or relevant field}, working as Electrical Tester or Manufacturing Assembler with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Sound knowledge of variable frequency drives and associated test equipment and the variable frequency drive market
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. An Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend assembly instructions, electrical diagrams, wire tables, workstation book of prints, assembly drawings, schematics, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
