The Health Economics Intern at Cone Health provides a hands-on opportunity to support strategic initiatives across departments such as Workforce Performance, Philanthropy, and Financial Planning. Interns will contribute to operational workflows, assist with data analysis, and help manage projects that enhance employee engagement, donor relations, and system-wide improvement efforts. This role is ideal for students seeking exposure to healthcare operations, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
This internship position is a time-limited, temporary position with a start date and orientation on Monday, June 1, 2026. The total number of hours that an intern can work during this timeframe is 250 hours. Interns hired for the summer cohort will be enrolled in Campus Greensboro's Summer Fellows Program. This is an in-person, professional development training program sponsored by Cone Health. To be considered, candidates must meet at least one of the below criteria: Local College Students: Attendees of local institutions including University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Guilford College, Greensboro College, Guilford Technical Community College, Bennett College, Elon University and School of Law, North Carolina A&T State University. Guilford County High School Graduates: Those who graduated from Guilford County high schools and are now furthering their education outside of Greensboro.
