GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate. There is 1 other RN at this Seville location, the RNs will cover each other and coordinate so not off at same time. This RN may have to go to WB location to cover Mondays when the other RN is off (this should only be a couple times per year). Location: Seville 15520 19 Mile Rd Clinton Twp (across the street from Macomb Hospital) Hours: 8AM-4:30PM no weekends, on call or holidays Benefits: Full-Time EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation. Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty. experience in Neurosurgery and or spine preferred. Outpatient or clinic experience preferred EPIC knowledge preferred Surgical experience preferred Customer service skills a must Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel. Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy. Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN). Additional Information
