POSITION SUMMARY:

The Division Vice President, Finance & Accounting is a senior financial leader responsible for the overall financial integrity, control environment, and accounting operations of the TriMark United East division. This role serves as the division's lead financial steward, ensuring strong internal controls, accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and disciplined financial governance.


While the primary focus of the role is controllership and accounting oversight, the position also provides financial planning and analysis (FP&A) leadership to support operational performance and strategic decision-making.


This role reports to the East Region CFO and partners closely with division leadership.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Financial Control & Governance



  • Lead all accounting and controllership functions for the division.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Maintain a robust internal control environment in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct the month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on quality, transparency, and discipline.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls.


Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable



  • Provide direct leadership and oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
  • Establish and enforce strong controls over procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles.
  • Monitor vendor compliance, payment terms optimization, and disbursement controls.
  • Ensure accurate billing, revenue capture, credit management, and customer account reconciliation.
  • Drive disciplined collections processes to optimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Oversee cash application accuracy and aging review processes.


Financial Planning and Reporting



  • Prepare monthly financial analysis to aid in understanding business activity and results.
  • Create a monthly reporting package for business reviews, including detailed financial statements and explanations of variances.
  • Drive forecast and budget processes, providing visibility on profitability, efficiencies, and key operational metrics.
  • Provide financial modeling support for strategic initiatives as needed.


Business Partnership & Leadership



  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to the TriMark United East leadership team.
  • Provide clear, data-driven financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Translate complex financial information into actionable business recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and financial discipline.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.


Leadership and Team Development:



  • Provide department leadership, including hiring, training, and developing finance team members.
  • Evaluate the team, plan for continual improvement, and provide growth opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in shaping and executing complex financial strategies within a divisional context.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of products with Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Previous experience in a divisional role within an organization is preferred.
  • Experience in the Commercial Kitchen and/or Construction industries a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Team management and leadership experience.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.


In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
