What You Do. Asset Management
- Lead the end-to-end IT asset management process, including procurement, tracking, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory records in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Acts as the point of accountability and knowledge for IT hardware and software asset inventory, identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiencies, and other opportunities to leverage current investments.
- Monitor software license compliance and optimize usage to reduce costs.
- Develop and implement asset management best practices and process improvements.
Financial Management
- Assist with IT budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for IT leadership.
- Support cost allocation and chargeback processes for IT services.
- Analyze vendor invoices and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaboration & Governance
- Partner with procurement, finance, and IT operations teams to ensure alignment on asset and financial strategies.
- Support audits and compliance reviews related to IT assets and financial controls.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for financial and asset management processes.
Your Education and Experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in ITAM (Information Technology Asset Management), financial analysis, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ITAM (Information Technology Asset Management) tools and SAP ERP preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of IT procurement processes and software licensing models is a plus.
