Job description
With daily reporting responsibilities to the Controller, the Senior Accountant IDRE Lead is responsible for accurate reporting of fees associated with the IDRE program, ensuring that activities follow the procedures and guidelines established, and activities are completed in compliance with program requirements. This individual will guide and mentor support staff in completing these tasks each day. This individual will also perform various duties assigned by the Controller and work collaboratively with all team members in support of corporate accounting matters.
Responsibilities: - Understand and represent PRI's mission, vision, and values to all internal and external customers - Engage clients in appropriate communication that manages client expectations and builds a collaborative relationship with the client - Interact with government and private sector clients, partners, and PRI staff in a professional and accountable manner, and as a representative of PRI management - Maintain timely and accurate reporting as required for the IDRE program; ensure activities follow guidelines and meet requirements. Focus may be assigned to fee deposits or refunds or both depending on volume and staffing o Refunds - Assure timely and accurate reporting of fees due to stakeholders; provide proper documentation for all refunds including branded remittances for stakeholders; ensure that we are complying with stakeholder preferences for submission of refunds; fully research discrepancies to ensure proper refunds o Fee Deposits - assure timely and accurate reporting of fees received from stakeholders; communication to stakeholders regarding any discrepancies or missing information; filing of documents received in support of fee deposits - Participate in cross training practices and identify cross training needs for supervised staff - May include attendance tracking and timekeeping approvals for Data Entry Staff - Participating in QA review activities as requested - Provide responses to inquiries made by Stakeholders as well as PRI program staff regarding areas of coverage in a timely and professional manner. - Look for process improvements and provide feedback to management on daily activities - Participation in department Sprint meetings - Other projects and accounting matters as directed by the CEO, CFO or Controller - Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal accounting controls and policies to prevent fraud and maintain financial integrity - Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to local, state, and federal tax regulations and stays updated on changing financial legislation - Other duties as assigned. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field - At least 5 years professional accounting or Finance experience with progressive promotions and expanded responsibilities - Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Work and aptitude for other accounting software. - Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills - High attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent verbal communication skills - Excellent writing skills - Ability to multitask several projects at any given time - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with team members to meet department goals - Good problem-solving abilities - Must have no conflict of interest (COI) as defined in 1154(b)(1) of the Social Security Act (SSA) - Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Security Clearance EEO Statement Provider Resources, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role will be 85,000-105,000 (not including discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits). The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include but are not limited to relevant previous experience including duration and type of experience within the industry, education, and internal equity.
