LC CNA - FT D/E

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position requires working 7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week, totaling 37.5 hours. The role involves day/evening shift rotations, with every other weekend and holiday required.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting
• Certifications: NYS Nursing Assistant Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or RQI

• Assist residents with daily living needs such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care according to their care plan
• Maintain resident safety and environment by responding to call lights, using safety equipment, preventing falls, and keeping the unit clean
• Support residents with meals, including tray delivery, feeding assistance, using adaptive equipment, and respecting food preferences
• Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs, including range of motion exercises, walking, transfers, proper positioning, and using mobility aids
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Measure and record weight, intake, and output
• Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
• Provide social and emotional support to residents through interaction and companionship
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents' rights at all times
• Promptly report resident concerns, changes, or refusals to the nurse
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner according to protocol

There is a reasonable anticipation of occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Required tasks may lead to contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
