Job Summary The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of large-scale data center and network infrastructure construction projects. This role manages planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout while ensuring quality, safety, and contractual compliance. The Project Manager leads large internal and external teams, maintains strong client relationships, and ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget in fast-paced, high-demand environments. This position requires extensive travel and on-site leadership across multi-site, high-value hyperscale data center projects. Job Responsibilities

Manage the full project lifecycle, including preconstruction support, planning, execution, closeout, and post-installation activities.

Lead project teams to achieve scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.

Monitor project milestones, timelines, risks, and financial performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Oversee change management processes and secure required approvals and change orders.

Coordinate and supervise large internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.

Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and system data throughout all project phases.

Align contract documents, proposals, budgets, and billing schedules to ensure financial accuracy.

Review project budgets, forecasts, invoicing, accounts receivable, and performance metrics on a regular basis.

Identify opportunities for additional services and support ongoing account growth.

Ensure quality assurance standards and project management best practices are followed consistently.
Job Requirements

5-10 years of project management experience in technical infrastructure or construction environments.

Demonstrated experience managing large-scale data center, hyperscale, or colocation projects.

Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.

Experience overseeing large teams, including superintendents, foremen, project engineers, and contract staff.

Knowledge of structured cabling and network infrastructure, including copper, fiber, and related systems.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ability to travel extensively and work extended schedules as required by project demands.

Physical ability to walk active construction sites and stand for extended periods.
Education
-
College degree or associate degree preferred.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.

RCDD certification preferred but not required.

Schedule expectation of approximately 50-60 hours per week, with frequent extended workdays.

This is a 100% travel-based role with a rotating schedule of approximately four weeks on site followed by one week remote, contingent on performance and client approval.

Projects typically last 15-16 months per site.

Per diem provided at a daily rate.

Project locations vary by assignment and may include multiple sites across different regions.
