Lead a highperforming team focused on middlemarket companies with $25MM+ in annual revenues. This role drives growth through strategic relationship development, disciplined portfolio management, and strong team leadership. You'll shape market strategy, deepen client impact, and expand your leadership influence within a growing commercial banking platform. Key Accountabilities
  • Lead a team of relationship managers, setting goals, coaching performance, and ensuring strong execution across C&I and middlemarket portfolios.

  • Develop new client relationships and expand existing ones to drive loan, deposit, and Treasury Management growth among companies with $25MM+ in annual revenues.

  • Manage credit quality by overseeing portfolio administration, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring compliance with credit policy and regulatory standards.

  • Drive new business opportunities by serving as deal team leader on significant C&I transactions and actively engaging in the market.

  • Advise clients on financial trends, capital structure, and banking solutions while coaching team members on advisory best practices.

  • Present credit recommendations and participate in the loan approval process, ensuring appropriate structure, risk assessment, and alignment with client needs.

  • Partner across the bank to crosssell Treasury Management, International Banking, Private Banking, and other specialized services.

  • Represent Associated Bank in community and business organizations to strengthen brand presence and support regional growth.

Education & Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or equivalent experience)

  • 7+ years in Commercial & Industrial or Corporate Banking

  • Experience working with middlemarket companies ($25MM+ in annual revenues)

  • 2+ years leading a team of 5 or more direct reports

  • Access to reliable transportation and ability to lawfully drive self by start date

Preferred
  • 7+ years of demonstrated success in portfolio quality, sales performance, and new business development
