What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Control access points by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, managing visitor sign-in, issuing temporary badges, and directing guests to the proper areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, unauthorized persons, and property damage, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, tenant corridors, parking areas, loading docks, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and patrol observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
