Security Officer - Gatehouse Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Patrol Driver in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a residential community, you will support access control by greeting residents and guests, verifying credentials and/or badges, and monitoring entry points. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document activity clearly. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit at assigned access points by verifying identity, confirming authorization, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate access logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the residential community, including amenities, common areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate observations and concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Security Experience - 1+ Years is required.
• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
