We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Project Management Analyst to support a high-visibility program reporting directly to leadership within the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and business analysis, capable of working independently to establish and refine business processes. This role is pivotal in supporting command exercises, managing documentation, and driving process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Exercise & Planning Support:



  • Lead exercise planning and support, including developing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and creating comprehensive after-action reports
  • Attend and represent the program at exercise planning conferences in various CONUS locations


Process & Application Development:



  • Design and implement a new data capture process and application to streamline information gathering during exercises, replacing the current manual process and driving significant process improvement
  • Develop and document business rules for leadership regarding change management and control processes


Information Management:



  • Create, manage, and maintain a central SharePoint repository for all command exercise documentation and policy documents, ensuring information is accessible on both low and high-side networks
  • Establish and maintain a consolidated directory of 15-30 key policy documents


Stakeholder Communication:



  • Serve as a key liaison between the program, leadership, and various stakeholders
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to leadership


Required Qualifications:



  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to report directly to senior leadership
  • Proven problem-solving ability and experience developing business rules and processes from the ground up
  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing SharePoint sites and other document repositories
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week at either the Washington Navy Yard


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Direct experience with NAVSEA and/or the U.S. Navy is highly preferred
  • An active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desirable
  • Experience with the Navy's exercise planning and execution process


100% onsite on Navy Yard in Washington, DC

CONUS travel 3-5x a year

Salary: 115k+ to align with education and experience
