Project Control Specialist

The Opportunity:

Do you thrive on bringing order to complexity and enabling teams to deliver with precision? As a Project Control Specialist at Booz Allen, you'll be at the center of our multi-disciplinary data team, ensuring smooth execution and visibility across projects. Your organizational and communication skills will help drive innovation and excellence in support of Department of Defense clients such as the U.S. Air Force. In a fast-paced, agile environment, you'll coordinate efforts among data analysts, data scientists, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to keep initiatives on track and deliverables aligned with mission-critical objectives.

How You'll Contribute:

As a Project Control Specialist on our team, you'll:

  • Organize and facilitate team meetings, working sessions, and reviews.
  • Track project milestones, dependencies, and commitments across multiple lines of effort.
  • Maintain action-item logs and ensure timely follow-up on tasks.
  • Serve as the first intake point for new requests, clarifying scope and routing to the right domain lead.
  • Surface risks, blockers, and decision needs early to prevent delays.
  • Produce concise status summaries tailored to leadership and technical audiences.
  • Help enforce agreed-upon processes and maintain lightweight documentation of plans and outcomes.
  • Use Microsoft Office and custom tools to manage schedules, deliverables, and reporting.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, operations, or delivery support
  • Experience organizing meetings, tracking milestones, and managing schedules
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and collaboration tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, and project management tools
  • Experience with data analytics, data science, AI, or engineering environments
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense programs or similar regulated industries
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills, for producing clear status updates and engaging stakeholders
  • Secret clearance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
