Responsible for the coordination of tax compliance matters and functions as the primary internal resource for a privately held, U.S domiciled, diversified holding company. The S Corp/Partnership entity structure results in operating and portfolio income at both the entity and Shareholder/Partner level, which requires a broad depth of experience with an emphasis on individual high-net-worth taxation. Operating income is from Consumer Products and Real Estate businesses. Portfolio income is from Active and Passive Investments allocated amongst Global Equities, Private Investments, Hedge Funds and Fixed Income. Duties and Responsibilities
* This role reports directly to the Vice President Investment and Tax and interacts with team members in the corporate office, subsidiaries and affiliated partnerships regarding all matters related to tax Qualification Requirements
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Tax and Accounting. Minimum Work Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience with a Private Equity, Family Office/Trust Company, public accounting or law firm that deals with taxation of high-net-worth individuals, partnerships and/or S Corporations License(s) / Certification(s): CPA or equivalent required; Master of Taxation preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
