Department Summary

The Summer at Roche Intern Program has been developed to provide students with a fun yet rewarding summer through hands-on experience. Interns enjoy opportunities to network with other interns as well as employees throughout our organization. Additionally, we help our students meet their career development and educational goals while potentially building a future with the Roche organization. By leveraging the education you have already received, we hope to give you an opportunity to grow and develop with us!

This internship position is located in Indianapolis, on-site.

The Opportunity

  • The Clinical Functional Excellence Sub-Chapter partners across Networks, Chapters and Functions to co-create high value solutions to enable effective, efficient and compliant clinical evidence generation for innovating diagnostics, shaping healthcare and changing lives.

  • Assist the Clinical Functional Excellence Sub-Chapter with a wide range of projects that assist by supporting the implementation and sustainability of "best in class" compliance initiatives in the Clinical Operations Chapter Area, focusing on inspection readiness and training topics.

  • Tasks will include developing process concepts; creating training materials; collaborating with several Global Functions to achieve results; and attending relevant stakeholder and team meetings.

Program Highlights

  • Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

  • Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)

  • A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.

  • Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

  • Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Who You Are

Required Education:
You meet one of the following criteria:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).

  • Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program).

  • Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).

Required Majors:
Any scientific degree

Required Skills:

  • Communication

  • Training

  • Instructional design

  • life science skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $23.00-$35.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
