Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to influence the functional strategy and related deliveries from "Day One" while designing the functional blueprints and related requirements to expand upon our digital and automated Client Onboarding platform to grow revenue and reduce friction (costs/manual processes). We are looking for a hands-on Vice President Business Analyst to join our Business Platforms and Process Automation team with experience leading teams and interfacing with stakeholders to solve the complex Client Onboarding challenges that Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank faces today. The aim is to create a single product agnostic global Client Onboarding platform with self-service capability for the clients to request new deals and get setup quickly in order to transact. You will be providing functional requirements to build components of our single-user interface portal, our key-stone technology platform that is both internal and external client-facing. Within the Corporate Bank, you will support solutions that enable liquidity management, payments, trade finance, lending, and institutional cash and securities services for corporate and financial institution clients worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Influence functional strategy and related end-to-end delivery for the Client Onboarding platform

  • Define functional blueprints to enhance digital onboarding for the Platform

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver platform features across web portals, application programming interface's, and workflow tools, supporting both internal users and external clients

  • Drive day-to-day backlog management, prioritization, testing, and production readiness to ensure reliable releases and continuous improvement

  • Evaluate complex onboarding processes, identify opportunities, and implement solutions that reduce manual effort, risk, and operational costs

How You'll Lead

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders to align strategy, prioritize initiatives, and deliver business-critical outcomes from day one

  • Lead cross-functional working groups and influence senior stakeholders and client services teams to drive adoption and process change

  • Shape and execute changes that redefine how the organization delivers onboarding at scale

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least extensive overall technology experience required

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex functional and operational challenges through structured analysis and solution design

  • Track record of owning product functionality and delivering measurable outcomes in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments

  • Experience working within Agile teams, applying iterative development and rapid feedback to continuously improve solutions

  • Advanced proficiency in functional design and requirements leadership, producing clear Epics, Features, and User Stories that drive high-quality releases

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,00 to $222,500.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
