As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor camera and alarm activity, and document security-related incidents with clear communication. You will maintain a professional, visible presence that helps to deter unauthorized access while delivering customer service to drivers, associates, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and emergency response activities as needed.
• Control access at entry points for a logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, processing visitor check-in, issuing badges and/or passes, and maintaining access logs.
• Screen and direct inbound and outbound truck traffic by confirming appointments, checking shipping documentation when required, and coordinating with site contacts to route vehicles to the proper docks and/or staging areas.
• Monitor cameras, alarms and other systems, report irregular activity, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, trailer yards, dock areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to document observations per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
